Standard We Aim For
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
What We Have Done
- Text and background colors on this site are tested to meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required for normal text, and 3:1 for large text.
- The whole site can be navigated with a keyboard alone, and a clearly visible focus indicator shows where you are on the page.
- Motion and parallax effects are disabled automatically for visitors whose device requests reduced motion.
- Images that convey information carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings follow a logical order so screen reader users can navigate by structure.
- The site is responsive and remains usable when zoomed or viewed on small screens.
Known Limitations
Our appointment booking and contact forms are provided by a third-party platform. While we have chosen it with accessibility in mind, we do not control its code directly. If you encounter a barrier when booking, please call or email and we will book your appointment personally — no one should be unable to make an appointment because of a form.
